Find the AXIS fertiliser spreader that meets your needs!
Discover the rangeIn the fertiliser spreader sector, you will find different types of weighing control. There are dynamic weighing spreaders, which calculate the quantity of fertiliser to be spread in real-time from the weight of the fertiliser in the hopper and the speed at which the spreader is moving. There are also static weighing spreaders, which measure the weight of the fertiliser in the hopper before and after spreading, to determine the quantity of fertiliser spread.
A weighing system on each disc has been added to the technology for an even more precise distribution of fertiliser, named EMC and exclusively patented by KUHN.
Over the past 20 years, KUHN has been in search for the best possible technology with the future in mind. This has led to KUHN’s innovation of Electronic Massflow Control (EMC), which stands out in front of all other existing weighing models, as it can regulate and weigh both left and right outlets each second independently.
The innovation of this system was quickly noticed and has been rewarded with the following awards: Gold medal at SIMA in 1999, then at the following Agritechnica, Agribex and EIMA exhibitions.
Two decades later, KUHN still pioneers the deployment and development of EMC in fertilisation.
With so many types of regulation weighing systems on the market, how do you know whether you are making the right choice? How will your spreader react if one of the outlets becomes blocked? Compare the alternatives
AXENT: from 18 to 50m / 9400L, spread granular fertiliser and it possible to switch from one module to the other in only 10 minutes.
The Digiferme project aims to prepare for the future of agriculture by using digital farms to test the latest technology. Their objective is to enhance the technical, economic, and environmental performance of precision farming. To achieve their goals, they have opted for precision modulation on the AXIS 40.2 fertiliser spreader. This approach helps in the regulation of nitrogen fertiliser inputs for soft wheat, spring barley, maize, and oilseed rape crops.
