Stubble Tine Cultivators
KUHN's multi-purpose tine stubble cultivators can mix large quantities of crop residues and offer incomparable soil retention in all types of soil conditions. Thanks to a wide choice of wearing parts, you can carry out shallow to deep stubble cultivation. In addition, the simplicity and precision of the adjustments will save you time and money.
What is the purpose of tine stubble cultivation?
A tine stubble cultivator is a tillage tool used for:
- Shallow soil cultivation of fields (3 to 7cm deep).
- Producing stale seedbeds.
- Substituting the use of the plough with deep stubble cultivation.
- Incorporating large volumes of organic matter and keeping it near the surface.
- Improving water penetration.
- Reducing diesel consumption.
The CULTIMER range of tine stubble cultivators is divided into 3 categories:
- Fixed mounted range (CULTIMER M 100 and L 100)
- Folding mounted range (CULTIMER L 100R)
- Trailed range (CULTIMER L 1000).
Adapt the tines to the type of work
There are two types of tines on the CULTIMER range:
- The NSM (Non-Stop Mechanical) tine offers 600kg tip pressure for even results. It requires no maintenance and features an advanced design using high-quality materials.
- The T-tine is a more economical solution, centered on a bolt under pressure during traction. It can be closely adapted to lighter, less stony field conditions.
Advantages for soil tillage
Tine stubble cultivators offer exceptional mixing and high topsoil loosening capacity. This allows water to penetrate more deeply and organic matter to be buried more easily.
The KUHN CULTIMER range is particularly well suited to all types of work with the possibility of fitting the tines with different parts to increase the versatility of the stubble cultivator.
Working depth
The new non-stop safety device allows the tines to cultivate at the same depth with double springs. The tip pressure provided enables it to work on most grounds and even in stony soils!
Choosing the right roller for optimum tamping
An entire range of tamping rollers are available to suit a variety of working conditions. From light rollers like the T-Ring to heavier rollers like the HD-Liner 600, you can choose from a complete range of rollers weighing between 75kg and 180kg per metre.
When it comes to finishing options, you can choose between levelling discs and blades to ensure the best roller performance and even pressure across the full surface of the ground.
Wearing parts for all soil cultivation jobs
With the incorporation of a bevelled deflector, CULTIMER offers impeccable work quality with less power requirement. Featuring exceptional mixing quality with 2 or 3 rows of tines, a wide choice of original KUHN wearing parts means you can find the right solution for every need.
The duck-foot share is designed for shallow stubble cultivation, while the 80mm point with 350mm blades is designed for medium stubble cultivation at depths of between 7 and 15cm. For stubble cultivation, the 80mm standard or carbide point alone is ideal for depths down to 35 cm. For deep loosening of hard ground, the 50 mm tip is optimal.
Transport width
CULTIMER tine stubble cultivators are compact for transport, folding to less than 3m wide and 4m high. Safe transport with the mechanical folding lock. Comfort is guaranteed by a suspension system on trailed versions. DREAL-approved road traffic (25km/h) is possible with a design that complies with regulations on road dimensions.
Tractor power
Suitable for working widths of 3 to 6 metres, these tillage tools are suitable for tractors with between 75 and 420 horsepower.
